Report: Pacers, Seraphin agree to 2-year, $3.6M deal

The Indiana Pacers have agreed on a two-year, $3.6-million contract with free-agent center Kevin Seraphin, sources tell The Vertical's Shams Charania. The deal will reportedly include a team option in the second year.
Seraphin spent this past season as a member of the New York Knicks, averaging 3.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists on 41 percent shooting in 48 games.
The 26-year-old will help strengthen a Pacers frontcourt that lost centers Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill in free agency earlier this summer. While it's unlikely that Seraphin will start, the six-year veteran could serve as a valuable backup for Indiana.
