Kirk Cousins gets Spurs jersey, offends Wizards

After opining that he wanted his Washington Redskins to become the San Antonio Spurs of football, quarterback Kirk Cousins got a gift in the mail.
The Spurs sent Cousins a customized jersey, which the quarterback proudly posed with while flashing a giddy smile.

Not so giddy, however, were the Washington Wizards. They felt rather snubbed about the whole ordeal, given they're Cousins' local NBA team.

As it happens, the Redskins are much more similar to the Wizards than the Spurs. If anything, the natural NFL comparison to the Spurs would be the New England Patriots.
