The San Antonio Spurs have reached a deal with Argentinian guard Nicolas Laprovittola, league sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein.
The 26-year-old played well for Argentina at the Olympics this summer, averaging 8.2 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 33.3 percent from deep.
Laprovittola spent this past season with Movistar Estudiantes, averaging 13.8 points and 4.4 assists in 20 games for the Spanish ballclub.
Laprovittola will likely compete with Ryan Arcidiacono this preseason for the Spurs' third-string point guard duties.
