Raptors' Nogueira gets tattoo celebrating Brazilian, Canadian ties
Lucas Nogueira has become enamored with the city and country where he plies his trade.
The Toronto Raptors big man from Brazil has represented the league's lone franchise north of the 49th parallel for the past two years, so naturally it was time to honor the nation in the form of some body ink.
"Bebe" posted a photo Monday on Instagram of his new tat, which features a hand designed to resemble a Canadian flag, and another that looks like the Brazilian flag appearing to shake hands.
In the caption, he writes that he wanted to show how much he loves Canada and how important it is in his life.
"Those 2 years living here I fell in love with that amazing and humble people here, I didn't born here but I consider Canada my house and I'm so glad to part of that country ... I just want to say thanks Canada, Toronto and raptors to make my life amazing each day and thanks God to bless me giving me the opportunity to enjoy that amazing country each day ... Brasil and Canada one connection."
Make this man an honorary Canuck already.
