Doris Burke lands expanded role for NBA, college basketball on ESPN

Fans of insightful basketball commentary and analysis, rejoice.
Doris Burke is set to become a regular NBA game analyst for ESPN, and also cover men's and women's college basketball, the television company announced Thursday.
Burke's one of the most knowledgeable commentators in the field and has been with ESPN for 25 years. She was a hoops standout at Providence College, where she served as an assistant coach following her playing days.
On top of the commentary, Burke also showed she still has game during this year's NBA playoffs:
Sage Steele and Michelle Beadle will also see expanded roles on the network.
