If you were trying to figure out why several members of the Dallas Mavericks were dressed like the cast of the 1980s sitcom "The Golden Girls" on Saturday, the answer lay in charity.
Yes, that's coach Rick Carlisle along with players Harrison Barnes, Seth Curry, Quincy Acy, Devin Harris, A.J. Hammons, Wesley Matthews, Deron Williams, and Dwight Powell all dressed up like octogenarian women. The team is known as "Grannies With Attitude."
The Celebrity Dodge Barrage tournament is the brainchild of Williams, raising money for his Point of Hope Foundation.
