Nets' Chase Budinger: Signs contract with Nets
Budinger agreed to a contract with the Nets on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Analysis:
The terms of the contract haven't been released, but Budinger will join the Nets for training camp and will presumably have to compete for a roster spot. Budinger, a veteran of seven NBA seasons, split time with both the Pacers and Suns during his 2015-16 campaign, finishing with averages of 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. If he's able to win a roster spot with the Nets, Budinger will likely serve as deep reserve at small forward behind presumptive starter Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
