King James is shattering records in the NBA, and apparently also on the card market.
A rare signed LeBron James rookie card sold for $318,500 early Sunday.
That's the most anyone's ever paid for an autographed card, as the previous record was $50,787 for a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth signed card.
Deemed "the most valuable and coveted LeBron James card in the world," the one-of-a-kind piece of sports memorabilia had a minimum bid of $50,000 on Goldin Auctions.
It was estimated to fetch $200,000, but surpassed that when the auction closed with 20 bids.
