Mavericks' Salah Mejri: Hopes to play Saturday

Mejri (knee) has participated in portions of practice the last two days and hopes to be available for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Bucks, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

After starting training camp as a limited participant following surgery on his right knee back in June, Mejri seems to be trending toward full health. The Mavericks will monitor him over the next few days to see how he progresses before making a ruling on his status for Saturday.
