Shooting "granny style" at the charity stripe isn't aesthetically pleasing, and usually draws its fair share of chirping and ridicule when its performed in all waves of basketball.
Houston Rockets rookie Chinanu Onuaku doesn't care, though. All he's concerned with is sinking his free throws, and if shooting underhand puts the ball in the hoop, then why ruin a good thing?
Houston's preseason outing against the New Orleans Pelicans in China on Wednesday wasn't the first time he's utilized the strategy, as he demonstrated it during his tenure with the Louisville Cardinals before getting drafted 37th overall this year by the Rockets.
