The Atlanta Hawks announced Wednesday that they've requested waivers on forward Ryan Kelly.
Kelly, a former bench player for the Los Angeles Lakers, joined the Hawks on a training camp deal, but the team already had 15 guaranteed contracts on their books.
Across six preseason appearances, Kelly averaged 4.8 points and 2.7 rebounds while hitting 3-of-9 from deep.
