Clippers' Paul: We know we're not 'well-liked' in NBA
The Los Angeles Clippers took down the Portland Trail Blazers 114-106 on Thursday at Moda Center in a rather heated affair that ended in a chorus of boos for the visitors dressed in black.
After the meeting between two teams that met in the first round of last year's playoffs, Chris Paul was asked about the intensity level of the game - which featured several hard fouls and questionable calls - and Paul called it like he saw it.
"It ain't even that," Paul said to TNT's David Aldridge. "We know we're not one of the most well-liked teams in the league. And we talked about embracing it, seriously."
Questioned about the teams' rivalry, Paul brushed off the notion that it existed.
"It's a game," CP3 said. "You've got to treat every game like a rivalry."
