Center Roy Hibbert departed the Charlotte Hornets' game against the Miami Heat on Friday with right knee soreness and did not return.
Hibbert played four minutes in the contest, recording one rebound. The 29-year-old veteran had a strong game in Charlotte's opener Wednesday, scoring 15 points to go with nine boards and five blocks.
The Georgetown product signed a one-year, $5-million contract with the Hornets over the summer after a disappointing season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
