The Brooklyn Nets are not taking any chances with their star center.
Despite it only being the third game of the season, Brooklyn will rest Brook Lopez during Saturday's showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Nets are set to play on the second night of a back-to-back on the road and don't want to overextend Lopez, who does have a lengthy history of foot problems. Lopez has only played 47 minutes in the Nets' first two games of the season.
Veteran shooting guard Randy Foye will also have the night off.
