Bulls' Carter-Williams suffers sprained knee, will undergo MRI

Chicago Bulls point guard Michael Carter-Williams will undergo an MRI on Tuesday after suffering a sprained left knee against the Brooklyn Nets, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.

It is the same knee that held him out of four games last season.

Injuries have been a cause for concern since the 25-year-old entered the league, missing a total of 56 games over his first three years in the Association.

Carter-Williams was acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this month in a deal that sent Tony Snell to Milwaukee.

The 6-foot-6 guard is averaging 6.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in two games this season.
