Curry: Klay got his groove back 'the same way Stella did'
Steph Curry knows exactly how his fellow Splash Brother got out of an early-season shooting slump.
The two-time MVP revealed Klay Thompson's shooting secrets following Monday's blowout victory over the Indiana Pacers, telling CSN's Rosalyn Gold-Onwude that Thompson got his groove back "the same way Stella did."
Curry was referring to a 1998 romantic comedy film, where a California stockbroker falls in love with a younger man while on vacation in Jamaica.
While certainly an odd reference, there's no questioning Thompson's impressive play of late. After missing 25 of his first 28 threes of the season, the five-year veteran has been on fire from deep, shooting over 48 percent from distance over the last seven contests.
More importantly, Thompson's stellar play has only improved the league's No. 1 offense, while also helping the Warriors to eight straight victories.
