The injuries are piling up for the Boston Celtics.
Small forward Jae Crowder sustained a sprained left ankle in Wednesday's contest against the Chicago Bulls and will not return for the second half.
Crowder landed on someone's foot midway through the second and immediately left the game in obvious pain.
The 26-year-old old has been tremendous during his third season with the Celtics. Through three games, Crowder holds averages of 14.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 53.3 percent from deep.
