Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce will be active for Friday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Dan Woike of the Orange County Register.
Pierce missed the first four games of the season with an ankle injury.
The 39-year-old is coming off of his worst season a pro, averaging career-lows in points (6.1), rebounds (2.7), assists (one), and steals (0.5).
Pierce is a strong candidate to replace Luc Richard Mbah a Moute in the starting lineup going forward.
After suffering their first loss of the season on Wednesday, the Clippers (3-1), will look to bounce back against a Grizzlies team that's dealing with a number of injuries as well.
