Pelicans' Holiday to make season debut Friday

The New Orleans Pelicans will have Jrue Holiday back in action Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers, general manager Dell Demps told Justin Verrier of ESPN.
Demps confirmed the point guard is fully healthy and in shape, according to Verrier, and will practice Thursday. He won't travel with the team to Orlando for Wednesday's contest, however.
Holiday missed all of training camp to take care of his family. His wife, Lauren Holiday, had a benign brain tumor while she was pregnant that required surgery.
