Hawks' Howard sits vs. Bucks due to quad injury

Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard did not play Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks due to the left quad contusion he suffered Tuesday against the Miami Heat.
Howard, who described the injury as "super painful," was evaluated in the lead-up to game time, and was ruled out less than 24 hours after getting hurt.
The 30-year-old has been enjoying a nice resurgence in his first season with the Hawks after a bitter final campaign with the Houston Rockets. Through 10 games, he's averaged 14.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.7 blocks, and ranks second in the NBA in field-goal percentage (62.2) and double-doubles (eight).
Mike Muscala, the league's only player shooting a better percentage (65.5) than Howard, started in his place.
