Westbrook notches NBA-leading 4th triple-double

They may have lost Kevin Durant, but the Oklahoma City Thunder remain must-watch television thanks to Russell Westbrook.

The 6-foot-3 guard continued his MVP-caliber season Friday, collecting his league-leading fourth triple-double in a victory over the Brooklyn Nets. While James Harden has three, the rest of the NBA has combined for just five triple-doubles on the season.

Westbrook finished with 30 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds in 34 minutes.

While he's had a few poor shooting performances, Westbrook has consistently put up monster numbers on a nightly basis, averaging a preposterous 31.8 points, 9.8 assist, and 9.5 rebounds going into Friday.

With few quality players around him, the Thunder have relied heavily on Westbrook to keep them in games, as the five-time All-Star leads the NBA in usage rate at 41.1 percent.

Things can change, but the All-NBA guard is making a strong case for MVP early in the season.
