Memphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley left Monday night's contest against the Charlotte Hornets and did not return after suffering a lower back injury, the team announced.
There is currently no timetable for his return.
Injuries have been a cause for concern for Conley over the last several seasons, with the 29-year-old missing a total of 47 games from 2013-16.
The 6-foot-1 guard is averaging 19.5 points, 5.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals on 43.5 percent shooting in 2016-17.
Conley inked the largest contract in league history this summer, signing a five-year, $153-million contract.
