Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas: Playing through ankle injury
Valanciunas is playing through an ankle injury which is impacting his play at both ends of the court, The Toronto Sun reports.
Analysis:
The Raptors haven't been listing him with an injury, but his recent numbers back up the idea that he's not 100 percent. Over the last three games, Valanciunas is averaging only 22.7 minutes, 3.3 points and 5.3 boards, with his court time and production down significantly from the beginning of the season. Fortunately for the Raptors two of those games were blowouts wins, giving them a chance to go easy on their starting center, but you should shy away from rostering Valanciunas in DFS, and even season-long formats if you can, until he returns to form.
