Andre Drummond posts 2nd 20-20 of season
Andre Drummond's season-best performance served as the lone bright spot in an otherwise forgettable night for the Detroit Pistons.
The 6-foot-11 center collected his second 20-20 of 2016-17, finishing with 26 points and 20 rebounds, and adding two blocks in an 87-77 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. It was the 11th 20-20 game of the 23-year-old's young career.
After a slow start to the season, Drummond has dominated up front of late, posting a double-double in each of the last five contests for the Pistons.
While Drummond's solid individual play may look good in the box score, it has done little to help the Pistons, as Detroit has actually performed better when the big man sits by more than five points per 100 possessions.
With Reggie Jackson back in the lineup after missing the first six weeks of the season, Stan Van Gundy will need to start finding success when his two best players share the court.
