San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has certainly never been afraid to make his political viewpoints known, and his leadership skills that have helped produce five NBA titles have clearly rubbed off on some.
Twenty-five people in Bexar County - the jurisdiction that includes San Antonio - voted for Popovich for president as a write-in candidate, according to the San Antonio Express News' Jeff McDonald. Some even wrote in Tim Duncan as Popovich's vice president.
Of course, other write-ins included the likes of Michelle Obama, Beyonce, Kanye West, Darth Vader, and "Deez Nutz."
While Texas is well-known as a "red" state, urban areas such as San Antonio tend to lean Democrat. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in Bexar County.
