The New Orleans Pelicans have waived small forward Anthony Brown, the team announced Friday.
The Pelicans signed the 24-year-old in November.
Brown averaged 3.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists on 34.1 percent shooting and 25 percent from deep in nine games this season.
With their roster now down to 14 players, it appears likely the Pelicans will make a subsequent move in the near future.
