Even though Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City - the franchise he played with for nine years - he still holds the people of that city close to his heart.
The nine-year NBA veteran donated $57,000 to Positive Tomorrows, a non-profit foundation for educating homeless children, according to The Vertical's Michael Lee. Durant's donation will be used in the purchase of a new plot of land in which the school will be built on.
Durant apparently holds the Positive Tomorrows foundation in high regard, continuing to work with them during and following his departure for Golden State.
