Report: Carmelo would only accept trade to Cavaliers, Clippers
Carmelo Anthony's heart remains committed to the Big Apple, even with his New York Knicks looking like anything but a lock to qualify for the playoffs as they hover below the .500 mark at 18-22.
With a no-trade clause in his contract, the 32-year-old scoring forward holds all of the power when it comes to his future with the franchise. However, if he were to decide that enough's enough, there are reportedly only two teams in the Association that Anthony would willingly waive the clause for.
It's of the understanding that Anthony would accept being dealt to either the reigning NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers or the Los Angeles Clippers, according to FanRag Sports' Charlie Rosen, a good friend of team president Phil Jackson.

Anthony remains locked up through the end of the 2017-18 regular season, with a player option worth nearly $28 million in 2018-19. New York has gone the last three years without a postseason appearance, yet even in their current state of mediocrity, the team finds itself only two games back of the Charlotte Hornets for the eighth seed.
Cleveland has hit a bit of a January dry spell at 3-3 over its last six games, yet that's not nearly bad enough to sound the alarm and make a blockbuster move for someone of Anthony's ability. The same can be said for the Clippers, who have been in desperate need of a small forward for quite some time, but are riding a hot six-game winning streak without the services of Blake Griffin.
Anthony sits 20th in the league in points per game at 22.1, while also contributing 6.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 0.9 steals in 33.4 minutes per game.
