New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis injured his right hip and left thumb after a hard fall during the third quarter of Monday's loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Davis made both free throws from the Myles Turner foul, but then departed the game and did not return. X-rays were negative.
"Don't know anything yet," said Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry after the game, according to ESPN's Justin Verrier. "We'll just check with the doctors and see. I'm sure it's going to be a bruise, and we'll see to what extent it will be."
Davis missed a game last Thursday due to a left hip issue, only his third DNP of this season. The three-time All-Star has never played more than 68 games in an NBA campaign.
