Knicks' Jennings blasts Hornacek's decisions after loss to Hawks
Brandon Jennings clearly wasn't a fan of his coach's game plan Monday afternoon during the New York Knicks 108-107 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
“Every day is something new,’’ Jennings said, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post, noting Jennings' "angry" tone. “You got to be ready (because) you never know when you’re going to play. When you come in, you really don’t know what’s going to happen. There’s kind of no consistency. It’s tough.’’
The Knicks dropped to 11th place with the loss, falling to a season-worst six games under .500, but head coach Jeff Hornacek said he didn't regret the switches he made, which included starting undrafted rookie Ron Baker at shooting guard and sitting Courtney Lee.
As Berman writes, Hornacek's lineups have generally been consistent, but his rotations are the likely source of Jennings' complaints.
“Right now, like I said, you come in here and don’t know what’s going to happen," Jennings said. "I’m struggling. It’s difficult for me because I don’t know what’s going on.’’
