Deng says he's a proud refugee, stands by migrants of all religions
Luol Deng is standing up for refugees in light of President Donald Trump's immigration ban.
The ban was introduced Saturday to prevent people from Muslim majority countries - Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen - from entering the U.S.
Deng was born in South Sudan, and has dual citizenship from his homeland and the UK, which makes him exempt from the ban.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward shared a note Monday relaying his gratefulness to be able to find refuge in a safe place, and declaring he stands by refugees and migrants of all religions.
Fellow players are supporting Deng's stance.
Over the past few days, several members of the NBA family have spoken out against the travel ban, including Kyle Lowry, Steve Kerr, Stan Van Gundy, and Gregg Popovich.
