Taj Gibson: Bulls need to call 'referee hotline' when facing Harden
The Chicago Bulls may have been undermanned Friday night, but Taj Gibson believes the referees also played a hand in their defeat to the Houston Rockets.
The Bulls big man sounded off on the officials following the contest, saying that James Harden was the recipient of some favorable calls down the stretch.
"(Harden) gets so many calls his way, it's ridiculous sometimes," Gibson said, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN. "I guess we got to call 'referee hotline.' There were some rough calls late, we had some guys who learned a lot tonight."
While Gibson didn't specify which calls he disagreed with, he likely wasn't pleased with Michael Carter-Williams getting his sixth foul in overtime after Harden climbed on his back.
Harden shot nearly as many free throws (14) as the entire Bulls team combined (18).
