After being the beneficiary of several of LeBron James' career-high 17 assists Monday night, Kevin Love decided to return the favor.
Trailing by three with 3.4 seconds left in regulation and no timeouts remaining, Love took the ball out of bounds under the Cavaliers' own basket, and launched a 70-foot bomb that found James just inside the Washington Wizards' 3-point line.
James - who moments earlier had missed a wide-open layup that would've put the Cavs up a point - corralled the pass, stepped out, and hit a preposterous turnaround 3-pointer off the window to level things up and force overtime.
Unfortunately, he fouled out (for the first time in over three years) less than a minute into the extra frame. Fortunately, the Cavs managed to pull it out with him on the bench, holding on for a 140-135 win.
