Jabari Parker out 1 year with torn ACL
Milwaukee Bucks power forward Jabari Parker will miss the next 12 months after tearing his left ACL for the second time in his career, head coach Jason Kidd confirmed Thursday.
Parker left Wednesday's contest after suffering a non-contact injury against the Miami Heat.
It's a huge blow to the Bucks, who had just gotten Khris Middleton back into the lineup after a six-month absence.
The 21-year-old was in the midst of his best season as a pro, averaging career highs in points (20.1), rebounds (6.1), and assists (2.8), while shooting 49 percent of the floor.
Parker's absence likely means Mirza Teletovic, Thon Maker, and Michael Beasley will all see extended minutes going forward.
After a strong start to the season, Milwaukee has struggled of late, winning just two of its last 13 contests.
