Wade: Knicks' treatment of Oakley was a wake-up call to ex-players

Yet another member of the banana boat crew has weighed in on the altercation at Madison Square Garden involving Charles Oakley and Knicks owner James Dolan.
Dwyane Wade took a different approach than LeBron James and Chris Paul, warning players via Instagram that Wednesday's incident could realistically happen to any of them, regardless of their status with a franchise.

Oakley was forcibly ejected from MSG - reportedly upon Dolan's request - and charged with one count of trespassing and three counts of misdemeanor assault. He has since apologized for his role in the incident.
