The people are apparently siding with Charles Oakley.
During Friday's contest between the New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets, attendees at Madison Square Garden chanted the name of the Knicks legend, who was forced to leave Wednesday's game and has subsequently been banned from the arena.
The chants are muffled in the video, but it sounds like the crowd is saying "We want Oakley."

On the TV broadcast, "Charles Oakley" and "Free Charles Oakley," are audible.
In an interview earlier in the afternoon, team owner James Dolan said he expected fans to cheer for the retired player, but they should consider the security guards and staffers who Oak "abused."
