It appears that 2017 will mark the final chapter of Aaron Gordon's dunk-contest career.
After failing to replicate his 2016 Runner-Up performance, the Orlando Magic forward announced that he will be not competing in next year's competition.
"This event takes a lot out of you when you approach it as seriously as I do," Gordon told Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated.
With a foot injury likely holding him back, Gordon missed all but one of his eight attempts on Saturday night, finishing dead last with a total score of just 72.
While fans will certainly be sad to see him go, they'll always have the memories from last year's spectacular performance.
