Cousins doesn't believe in hype of Durant-Westbrook beef
DeMarcus Cousins isn't buying what the media's selling.
The Sacramento Kings center is set to play on the West All-Star squad with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who'll share a locker room for the first time since last summer when the former left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors.
A quick Twitter search will yield buildup of a potential blowup between the longtime co-stars, but Boogie isn't expecting that.
"I'm a big believer what happens in the locker room stays in the locker room, but I will say this: I'm not a believer of the hype. I'm not on that bandwagon," the three-time All-Star told CSN's Rosalyn Gold-Onwude, who followed up by asking if there's more love than the press is painting.
"I wouldn't say it's more love, but I wouldn't say it's as much hate, either. But whatever happens there stays there."

Westbrook has been dodging questions all weekend about the impending reunion, instead talking about fashion and his family.
Meanwhile, Durant said he won't go out of his way to speak to his teammate of the last eight years, but "if it happens organically, it does."
Considering they're stationed at opposite ends of the locker room, it should be easy for them to "organically" steer clear of one another ... unless coach Steve Kerr puts them on the floor together.
