DeMarcus Cousins is back in the Big Easy, and he's here to stay.
The big man touched down Tuesday afternoon in New Orleans, where he's set to join the Pelicans. He was traded a day earlier along with forward Omri Casspi from the Sacramento Kings.
Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry and GM Dell Demps picked up the two acquisitions in team owner Tom Benson's plane. That personal touch "made the situation a lot more comfortable" for Cousins, who admitted to reporters he was shocked about the transaction.
