Report: Cavs, Larry Sanders in serious contract talks

Shot-blocker extraordinaire Larry Sanders is reportedly nearing a return after two seasons away from the game.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have engaged the 28-year-old in serious discussions toward a deal, sources told Shams Charania of The Vertical.
However, ESPN's Brian Windhorst notes that Sanders is just one of several targets for the Cavs, who lost Andrew Bogut to a broken leg last week. A decision is expected after Cleveland wraps up its three-game road trip on Sunday.

Sanders announced in January that he was looking for a "good fit" upon his return to the NBA. The Cavs worked him out a month later, but evidently chose the championship-tested Bogut over Sanders, who walked away from the game in 2015 after being treated for anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
The former 15th overall pick holds career averages of 6.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 19.8 minutes per game.
