Jazz's Rodney Hood: Goes 1-of-9 from field in return Friday
Hood (knee) started at shooting guard and provided three points (1-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes in a 109-95 win over the Bucks on Friday.
Analysis:
Hood returned from a seven-game absence Friday due to the knee injury, but didn't do much to convince fantasy owners who had been stashing him that he's deserving of an activation just yet. He had as many fouls as points, received fewer minutes than any other starter and was outperformed by Joe Ingles (six points, seven rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes), who had been running with the top unit during Hood's absence. It may take a few games for Hood to find his shooting touch, but even once he's comfortable again, the Jazz's slow pace and typically balanced offensive attack may conspire to limit his fantasy upside.
