Pacers' Al Jefferson: Considered doubtful Monday vs. Rockets
Coach Nate McMillan labeled Jefferson (mouth) as doubtful for Monday's game against the Rockets, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Analysis:
Jefferson is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report, but McMillan's words probably carry more weight with regards to the big man's status. Jefferson, who underwent an emergency root canal last week, is apparently still in some pain, though he was able to travel to Houston with the team. In the likely event that Jefferson misses a third straight contest, Rakeem Christmas, who has seen double-digit minutes in both of the last two games, would likely stick in the rotation as the backup to starting center Myles Turner.
