Carmelo Anthony had the chance to go tit-for-tat with a fellow Eastern Conference All-Star Monday night in New York, but came up short in his attempt to deliver the Knicks a rare victory against the Toronto Raptors.
After DeMar DeRozan gave Toronto the lead with 1.9 seconds remaining, Melo stepped into a wide open, potential game-winning three, only to find iron.
With nowhere to channel his growing frustration, Anthony's headband took the brunt of the abuse.
