Rose indifferent on shift to triangle: 'Do I have a choice?'
Unsurprisingly, the New York Knicks' decision to transition back to the triangle offense isn't sitting well with all their players.
While Derrick Rose said he'll do everything in his power to help the Knicks win, the former MVP point guard was less than thrilled when asked how he was adapting to Phil Jackson's archaic offense.
"S--t, do I have a choice? Do I have a choice?" Rose told Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News. "I just want to win games. Winning takes care of every category for an athlete."

Wins have been few and far between for the Knicks of late, with New York going just 9-19 in the new calendar year. While the Knicks have struggled, Rose has begun to improve his offensive efficiency as he's coming off a month in which he shot 50 percent from the field.
"I still don’t have the feeling yet of the entire offense, but I pick and choose while I’m out there," Rose said. "You think, 'Don’t F’ up the game.' That’s a great way to put it. Just don’t mess up the game and looking at a lot of film, you learn. That’s what great players do. I believe that I’m great. Great players find a way no matter what situation they’re put in."
Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek revealed earlier this week that New York will use the triangle for the remainder of the season to see which players fit the system.
