Mavericks' Wesley Matthews: Will play Sunday
Matthews (hip) said he would play in Sunday's game against the Thunder, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
Analysis:
Matthews had missed the last two games with the hip issue, but he confirmed after the team's morning shootaround that he would be back in action Sunday. Given the brevity of his absence, it's likely that Matthews will slot back into the starting five and play around 30-to-35 minutes, while Nerlens Noel figures to head back to a bench role. Along with Noel, Dorian Finney-Smith also looks to be at risk at sacrificing some playing time with Matthews back in the fold.
