Bogut jokes he got Putin to take care of visa issues
Whatever immigration issues were plaguing new Cleveland Cavaliers import Andrew Bogut, it's all good now. The Australian will suit up for his new team against the Miami Heat on Monday night.
Bogut jokingly said he got some help from the Russian president, according to The Associated Press.
"I called Vladimir Putin and got it done," he said.
Bogut missed the morning's shootaround, though when he did arrive, he was handed an unfamiliar number: 6.5.
"LeBron got me already," Bogut said. "I wasn't aware that LeBron wears a No. 6 at practice, so they gave me a 6.5. I thought it was 65 at first. It was a good joke. I'll get him back."

The 32-year-old arrived from the Dallas Mavericks via the Golden State Warriors, where he faced Cleveland in the last two finals.
