Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Nicolas Batum proved that Monday when he beat the first-quarter buzzer by banking in an off-balance heave from the mid-court logo.

The Frenchman poured in a game-high 14 points in the opening frame to put his Hornets up 27-16 against the Indiana Pacers.
