Mavericks' Jarrod Uthoff: Inks second 10-day contract with Mavericks
Uthoff has signed a second 10-day contract with the Mavericks, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
Analysis:
Uthoff has seen a total of five minutes over two games since signing his first 10-day deal with the Mavericks, so he hasn't been able to crack the regular rotation. That said, coach Rick Carlisle wants a longer period of time to evaluate Uthoff, so he'll be brought back for another 10 days before potentially signing for the rest of the season. Uthoff should remain outside of the rotation, which likely keeps him off the court in games that are competitive.
