76ers' Jahlil Okafor: Leaves Sunday's game with knee soreness
Okafor is dealing with a sore right knee and won't return to Sunday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis:
The 21-year-old's right knee has been a trouble area for him throughout his two seasons in the NBA, and while it's not believed that he's dealing with a major setback, the 76ers weren't willing to take any chances with having him play through the injury. Okafor will be evaluated again Monday, but it wouldn't be surprising if he were held out of the 76ers' contest later that evening against the Magic. Richaun Holmes would enter the starting lineup if Okafor is sidelined, while Shawn Long would settle in as his top backup.
