Magic's Nikola Vucevic: Dealing with Achilles issues again
Vucevic wasn't able to practice Sunday after his right Achilles tendon flared up, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. He's considered questionable for Monday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis:
The Achilles injury previously forced Vucevic to miss four consecutive games earlier this month, but he was able to play in each of the team's last four contests. However, the center experienced some renewed soreness following the team's Thursday and Friday back-to-back set, so it appears he could be at some risk of missing Monday's contest. If that ends up being the case, Bismack Biyombo would likely rejoin the starting five at center and take on the bulk of the minutes at the position. The Magic didn't hold a shootaround Monday morning, so an update on Vucevic's status likely won't come until closer to the 7:00 p.m. ET tip off.
